I would like to welcome you to Lalibela Lodge, one of Lalibela’s newest hotels with rooms designed around individual bungalows and with your comfort and our service at its very heart.

My team and I are incredibly proud of our country and it is our wish that your stay in Lalibela should be complemented by accommodation that enhance this most fascinating and magical of towns.

All of our rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, come with individual bathroooms, free WiFi and your own private veranda overlooking the breathtaking Lasta and Semien Mountain ranges; the perfect space to end a day’s sightseeing.

As owner and manager, born and raised in Lalibela and along with my excellent team who are all also from the region, we have over 10 years’ experience in travel and tourism. With that expertise I am confident that we can cater to your every requirement, from organising informative tours with experienced guides through to any travel arrangements you may need. And we will always strive to exceed your expectations.

Most recently we were honoured to host the former US President George W. Bush when he visited Lalibela as part of an official visit to Ethiopia.

We hope that for Mr Bush and all of our esteemed guests, we went some way to helping create memories that will last a lifetime and very much look forward to the opportunity of hosting you in the near future.

Rooms

We have a total of 10 rooms that can be configured into any variety of twin, double and triple rooms to suit your needs, all designed with maximum comfort in mind.

All of these come with their own private balcony or veranda and are south facing to allow you to take full advantage of the magnificent mountain scenery.

All or our rooms enjoy freshly laundered, extremely comfortable beds with deluxe mattress, duvet and high quality pillows, quilted bedspread, spotlessly clean individual bathrooms with shower and free WiFi. The rooms are bathed in natural light and hot water is available 24 hours a day.
